Susan Jensen teaches kindergarten at the Barnet School and has taught here for more than 22 years! She chose to work at Barnet because it’s a great community with great families. Before she starting teaching, she was a travel agent. She was born on October 14th in New Hampshire. Her favorite holiday is the 4th of July because it is one of the few holidays that falls in the summer. She enjoys reading and traveling. If she were to switch careers today, she would work with engines as she likes math and science. Susan went to college at Lyndon State College and Vermont Technical College. She was proud of being chosen to be an exchange teacher in Scotland for 2 years. Because of this exchange, Scotland is her favorite place in the world because it has wonderful scenery similar to Vermont’s and is close to other desirable destinations in Europe. It was a great experience during which she learned all about a culture different from our own. She lives in West Barnet with her horse and cat.
