WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

As I reflect on my fifth year at Barnet School I continue to feel very grateful for the opportunity to serve in such a warm, supportive, and welcoming community. The community’s unwavering support of its school and its faculty and staff is commendable and very much appreciated. I want to recognize our faculty and staff as dedicated and caring people who understand the importance of keeping the best interests of children in mind whenever decisions are made. Our students continue to be interested in learning, enthusiastic, inquisitive, energetic, and well behaved (most of the time). For those times when a few of our students have difficulty behaving, we have instituted some new procedures to address their challenges which include more timely and more frequent meetings with the child, parents, and teachers. The full text of these new procedures is included in the Planning Room section of the handbook. We will continue to work on updating our behavior management/education plan as the year progresses....

Angel Roy-

Angel Roy works in the office. She is the secretary at Barnet School. She has been working at Barnet for eight years. She chose to work at Barnet School because she liked the kids and the adults. Angel went to Lyndon State College. She is an outgoing and friendly person. Angel enjoys softball, crafts, and four wheeling. Something that Angel is proud of is making it through college because she is one of the first in her family to do so. One of her favorite places to go is to her barn to be with her horses. It is very peaceful there. Angel was born in St. Johnsbury. Her favorite holiday is Easter because she likes to spend time with her family. She has one cat and two horses.
