Meg Clayton-

Ms. Clayton is a fifth grade teacher. She teaches because she loves to share her passion for learning. Ms. Clayton decided to teach at our school because she loves working in her community. She has been teaching for more than 15 years and all of those years have been in Vermont. She was born in the United States but grew up in Italy, Greece, and Brazil. She went to Dartmouth College in Hanover. Her favorite holiday is Halloween because she likes to dress up in costume. Her birthday is March 14. A phrase she uses to explain herself, is: “I’m effervescent. My positive outlook and passionate interests bubble constantly.” She likes the close knit, small town family feeling of the Barnet School community. She likes the outdoors. She canoes, camps, cross country skis, kayaks, golf’s, hikes, and walks her dog. If she had to switch careers today she said she would like to write travel memoirs. She is very proud of her great accomplishment which is canoeing the Allagash.
