Linda Lyon, who is teaching at Barnet School for more than three years, was born in Maine on April thirteenth, but grew up in Lyndonville and went to college at UVM. She decided to teach because she liked working with kids and has a love to teach reading. After working as an educator for more than 16 years, Linda decided to work for Barnet School. Linda started out as a speech therapist for 9 years at an elementary school in Randolph Vermont. She has also worked at the Stern Center as well as at Hartford Memorial Middle School. She obtained licensure through peer review and currently lives on a horse farm in Danville with her husband Cecil and daughter Riley.
