Lesley Duckett is a literary support teacher at Barnet School. She has been teaching here for more than six years. Lesley wanted to teach at Barnet because she loves kids and working in education allows her to work everyday towards a positive change and Barnet is a great school. Lesley grew up in Calais, VT. She went to Trinity College and earned a BA in psychology. She then worked with kids and families as a counselor. Now she works at our school. Lesley’s favorite place in the world is Vermont because it is beautiful and it is home. She says that if she could switch careers right now she would be a owner of a shop on a little Maine island. She likes antiques, crafty dolls, and a lot of other things. She is married to her husband Jack and has two kids, Carly and Leah who are usually fun to be around. She also has two cats, timid Molly and big sweet Shadow.
