Kerry Keenan-

Kerry Keenan is the principal of Barnet School. He has taught grades 3-8 and adults. He decided to teach because he loves children, and he loves to help them discover learn. Kerry has been teaching for themore than 32 years. He’s been principal of Barnet School for 5 years. He decided to work at Barnet School because “it’s a wonderful small school with many resources”. His favorite holiday is Christmas because of the quality time with his kids and grandkids. Mr. Keenan was born January 3, 1945 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. He went to Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont.
Keenan describes his personality as collaborative. He says this because he loves getting people to work together to overcome challenges. He thinks the best thing about Barnet School is that everyone cares about kids, and the staff helps provide kids with an unforgettable learning experience. His hobbies? “I like hiking, running, biking and kayaking because it keeps me in good physical health,” Keenan says. “I like riding my motorcycle because it’s fun!”
