Mrs. Denson was born on May 5th in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and grew up in White River Jct. Vt. She attended UVM (University of Vermont) and decided to become a guidance councilor because of an adviser she had who was a fantastic role model for her. She has been a guidance councilor for 38 years, and has been teaching at Barnet School for 3 years. She describes herself as outgoing because she really likes interacting with people. She loves Barnet School because of everybody in it! She enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and knitting. She has won a couple of awards too, teacher of the year and a leadership award. Her dream is that one day, every student in Barnet School will smile and say hello to everyone they meet.
