Inauguration Day

Today is the inauguration day. The inauguration means that the new president of the United States moves into the White House. This one is the 44th president. His name is Barack Obama.
This president is going to make history because he is the first ever black president of the United States. He has two daughters and a wife. One of the daughters is named Malia. She is 10. The other one is named Sasha. She is seven.The presidents wife’s name is Michelle.
I’m glad that I got to see the first black president move into the White House. When the White House was built it was partly being built by some slaves and now there is a black president taking the oath of office. We are lucky because black people were not allowed to be Governor or President and everything else and now the United States of America has the first black President.
