Brooksie Stanton’s job is to help readers here at Barnet School and to help them be the best they can be. She decided to teach because she loves reading and writing. Brooksie has been at Barnet School for about 10 years and has been an educator for more than 35 years. She went to college at Pitzer College. Her favorite thing about Barnet School is that it is a positive family place. Ms. Stanton describes herself as a positive person because she always looks on the bright side. Brooksie has two sisters. One died when she was 11 and another was born when she was 12. Brooksie has a son and two cat.
